HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
The Municipal Water Authority of Aliquippa will begin hydrant flushing
Monday, October 19, 2026 through Friday, October 23, 2026
Flushing will begin in the West Aliquippa area andcontinue throughout all areas serviced by the Authority.
Flushing hours are 2:00 PM through midnight.
Flushing dates for Raccoon and Potter Townships:
Monday, October 26, 2026 through Friday, October 30, 2026
Flushing hours are 8:00 AM through 3:30 PM.
Be advised customers may experience no water, low pressure
and discolored water during this period. Customers are to run
the cold water periodically to clear any discoloration.

There will be no Planning Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2026 as there is NO Agenda.

TRICK-OR-TREAT
Raccoon Township Halloween Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 6pm-8pm

NO SOLICITATION
As a reminder, there is no solicitation permitted in Raccoon Township except for non-profits. If anyone approaches your residence, please remind them of this and call the township office immediately.

2022-2026 FIRE HYDRANT ASSESSMENT
ATTENTION!
Delinquent 2022-2025 Fire Hydrant Assessments are due to the Raccoon Township Municipal Offices. Any Assessments that are not paid are subject the filing of a municipal claim, establishing a lien on your property. If you feel that you have any Assessments due, please call the office to get a payoff IMMEDIATELY!

SAFETY REMINDER
Please make sure you have your reflective street number out at the road side facing on-coming traffic. This number is not only your address but the number emergency services uses to find you swiftly.

DRUG COLLECTION UNIT NOW AT THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING!
You can now deposit your unused, not needed, or expired prescription drugs safely. Raccoon Township Municipal Office has a Prescription Drug drop box available during office hours.

RECYCLING WEEK
Please do not leave your full bags of recycles in front of the recycle fence during the week of the collection. The full bags are being left on the ground which is littering. Not only is it unsightly but its unsanitary. It should not the responsibilty of the township employees to clean up the mess that is left on the ground. Please wait until the weekend when the recycling gate is open to bring in your recyclables.
